Can you tell whether a wall is load-bearing from a photo?
A photo alone is not enough to establish a safe structural plan. The wall and the load path need appropriate evaluation, which may include site investigation and engineering review.
Will the finished space be completely open with no posts?
That cannot be promised before structural design. Span, loads, beam size, and support conditions determine whether posts or other visible elements are needed.
