Can I change the size of an existing window or door?
That may be possible, but it requires assessment of structure, surrounding systems, and applicable requirements. It is a different scope from replacing a unit within the existing opening.
Should I order a replacement before the opening is measured?
Site measurements and the installation approach should be confirmed first. Nominal product sizes do not always describe the space required for a proper fit.
